Insulated Concrete Form House

We built this house out of Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF’s).  ICF construction is a method to get a very strong and tight building.  Foam blocks are stacked and fitted and then filled with concrete and rebar.  The system requires very careful and systematic bracing prior to the pour.   Good results are the product of good bracing.  This is a big house and not for the faint of heart.
